Yesterday, Afghanistan and Kenya played a One-Day International cricket match at Nairobi Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi, Kenya. Toss went into the favor of the Kenya team and they chose to bat first.
Seren Waters and David Obuya started the batting innings for the Kenya team. They both gave an very slow but an steady start and put up an partnership of 55 runs from 16.2 overs. After the fall of the first wicket who was David Obuya, Seren Waters also followed him and returned back to the pavilion. When the first wicket fell, things did not go well to the Afghans as they started to loose wickets regularly that too in quick intervals. But the non-strike opener Noor Ali stayed till the 9th wicket but could not get an very good companion in this particular match and departed scoring 41 runs facing 72 deliveries that included only 4 fours. By 27.5 overs, Afghanistan lost all its 10 wickets and ended up scoring only 88 runs.
