Today, Delhi Daredevils took over Pune Warriors India at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. Toss was won by Virender Sehwag and they chose to field first.
Jesse Ryder and Graeme Smith opened the batting innings for the PWI. The start good but not an aggressive one though. The big man Graeme Smith in the last delivery of the fourth over. Jesse Ryder played an magnificent and so did the skipper Yuvaraj Singh. Jesse Ryder departed scoring 60 runs in just 27 deliveries that included 5 fours and 5 sixes. In the 20th over, Yuvaraj Singh did the real damage for the Delhi Daredevils. He scored 3 consecutive sixes in the last 3 deliveries. He remained unbeaten scoring 66 runs from 33 balls that included 4 fours and 5 sixes. In 20 overs, PWI managed to put up a total score of 187 runs loosing 5 wickets (PWI - 187/5, 20 over).
