Todays action

Ahhhhh!!! today was one of the day that had lot of actions. First thing is, it is Saturday. I slept at around 3:15 A.M. and woke up around 11:05 A.M.

After readying myself, i went straight away to my office and had my breakfast cum Lunch at 12:00 P.M. After this next place i visited was Employee Care Center (ECC). I was there till 6:00 P.M. where i played pool from 12:25 P.M. till 4:30 P.M. I enjoyed myself there, sometimes played very good shoots and sometimes worst shots. Victory and defeat as well. After coming out from pool table, i landed at GYM where i did workout for my back for 45 minutes with little bit exercises for my abs. Once i was done with my workout, straight away went to dormitory removed my gym clothes and wore my swimming costume and went for swimming. Did swimming for 15 min and was back to dormitory where i took bath.  Then i dressed up went to canteen and had some juices just to energize myself as i was fully exhausted.

Then i went to my ODC and rested for 25 min at my desk. During this time i unlocked my PC and started checking for mails and blogs. At 6:45 P.M. i left office, took my bike and left to home. After coming home, i spent some time on Facebook. Meanwhile, the IPL match started which was between Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab. The match so interesting that i spent almost all the time watching the match itself. In entire 40 overs, there were 433 runs scored in total by both the teams. Plenty of sixes and fours and full excitement and masti. Finally had my dinner at Andhra Mess and came back home and watched the remaining match. Delhi Daredevils won the match. Now i am lying on my bed and writing this article to publish it to everyone.

England wins series against Australia

England has won 3rd match against the Australians. England & Australia have been playing 5 ODI match series. Today they played the 3rd match at Old Trafford, Manchester. England has already won 2 matches, this match was an crucial one for them to get a straight win against the Aussies. England won the toss & put the Aussies to bat first.

Tim Paine & Shane Watson had put up a 75 runs of opening partnership which was an advantageous start to the Aussies. After the fall of Tim Paine, Ricky Ponting did not survive for longer period. Though Australia lost 2 wickets, they were going well as Shane Watson was performing well with the bat. Everything changed when Shane Watson got dismissed by Graeme Swann. Australia started to loose wickets in regular fashion with run rate dropping below 5 runs per over. Finally Aussies somehow managed to put up a total score of 212 runs loosing all 10 wickets in 46 overs.

This total was supposed to be a cake walk for the England team as their team was performing extra-ordinarily well in this season. But they lost the opening batsman Kieswetter in the 1st over itself which was a negative sign for them. Next 3 wickets partnership helped England to reach 185 runs in total. At this point of time they were looking very dominant in the match. Soon after the dismissal of the 4th wicket, they lost 5 wickets adding just 18 runs in the total score. At this point of time, they had completed 48 overs scoring 203 runs & had lost 9 wickets. Now the real pressure was on the England side as they had only one wicket left & needed 10 runs. Tim Bresnan played beautifully & scored 11 runs in just 7 deliveries which helped England to win an nail biting match. England won the match by 1 wicket. The series stat is 3-0, England has already won the series. Still 2 more matches will be played between these two which i think they have to play it for pride.

5th ODI : India vs Srilanka

India played Srilanka in the 5th ODI of the tri-series today at Harare Sports Club, Harare. India out of 3 matches has won only 1 match. Zimbabwe is looking comfortable as they have almost made into finals. On the other hand it is almost difficult situation for India to make it to finals of the series. This is a supposed to be a must win match for India.

Sri Lanka won the toss & requested India to bat first. In today’s play India has replaced one of its openers; it was Naman Ojha playing instead of Murali Vijay. India gave a poor start, their run rate was around 4 runs per over in the first 10 over. Yusuf Pathan & Virat Kohli played for some time & scored 41 & 68 runs respectively which helped India to put up decent total. After the fall of these 2 wickets, other players contributed some more runs. India scored 268 runs loosing all 9 wickets in 50 overs, which was a good come back for India after loosing all top order batsmen. Main contribution was from 51 runs partnership which was between Ravindra Jadeja & Ravichandran Ashwin. Suraj Randiv bowled beautifully taking 2 important wickets & his was economy rate was just 3.8 runs per over completing 10 overs.

Chasing the target of 269 runs, Srilanka started their batting innings with the openers, Upul Tharanga & Tillakaratne Dilshan. Dilshan was out when Srilanka had scored 29 runs in 5.1 overs. Dinesh Chandimal played too good where he gave good partnership with Upul Tharanga, Chamara Kapugedara & Jeewan Mendis. He scored a magnificent 111 runs 118 deliveries which included 6 fours & 5 sixes. This greatly helped the Srilankans to win the match comfortably. By 48.2 overs, Srilanka chased the target successfully loosing just 4 wickets.

Srilanka won the match by 6 wickets with 10 deliveries to spare. Now, India are out of the series. Srilanka still have to play their 4th match against the Zimbabwe after this again they both will be facing each other in the finals.
